Rehab Tech Position

Five Points at Lake Highlands Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dependable, compassionate Rehabilitation Technician to support our therapy team and help residents achieve their highest level of independence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with older adults in a skilled nursing setting and values teamwork, dignity, and quality care.

• Assist physical, occupational, and speech therapy staff with resident transport, treatment-area setup, and non-clinical tasks.
• Prepare, clean, and organize therapy equipment and treatment spaces.
• Escort residents safely to and from therapy sessions.
• Support therapy staff in maintaining an efficient daily schedule and positive resident experience.
• Monitor supplies and report equipment needs or safety concerns.
• Follow all infection-control, privacy, safety, and facility policies.
• Build respectful, encouraging relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, long-term care, or customer-service setting preferred.
• Ability to safely assist with resident mobility, including standing, walking, pushing wheelchairs, and lifting within established safety guidelines.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• A patient, reliable, and resident-centered approach.
• Current CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
