Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Medical City Arlington - Full-time, day shift (7-10 hour days) with rotating weekends. Job Summary Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab responsible for delivering professional nursing care to patients presenting to the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Intervention, and EP Lab. Utilizes nursing process for assessment, planning and execution, maintains accountability for professional decisions. Responsibilities Provide nursing care for all patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Intervention and EP Lab. Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, care plan, implementation, and evaluation of treatment for all patients. Administer treatments, medications, and procedures within scope of practice; coordinate care with Cardiac Cath Lab Management, departmental staff, physicians and ancillary services. Access secure drug and biological storage areas after completing medication management orientation and when necessary. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
