Main Operating Room RNAt Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Main Operating Room RN delivers safe, high-quality care to surgical patients.What You Will Do:Provide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique.Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures.Minimum Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree in Nursing is required.Valid RN license in Connecticut.Must have two (2) or more years of inpatient nursing experience.Preferred:Ideal candidates must have 1 or more years of intraoperative nursing experience, including circulating and scrub experience.Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross)Familiarity with AORN standardsImportant Consideration ***This position is open to experienced RN candidates seeking training through the AORN Periop 101 program. Comprehensive onboarding and education will be provided to support a successful transition into the intraoperative nursing environment. This role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking training through the Periop 101 program.
