Senior Software Engineer

Optomi, in partnership with a leading technology company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join their dynamic team.
This role supports full-stack engineering across Katana's backend services and the Mission Control UI. The Katana team owns over ten core services and components within the Mission Control ecosystem. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining Java/Spring Boot backend services, working in the Mission Control React/TypeScript UI, implementing API integrations, and supporting platform modernization work. This position is crucial for executing two concurrent VSM workstreams and maintaining production stability.

- Full-stack capability with 3-5+ years of experience

- Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, and CI/CD pipelines
What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java/Spring Boot
- Implement and maintain features in the Mission Control React/TypeScript UI
- Execute API integrations across services
- Participate in platform modernization efforts and cross-service design
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate across multiple backend services
- Support ongoing platform maintenance and operational support
