Sales and Customer Support Associate

This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be local to the DFW area and within driving distance of Irving, TX

8 hour schedule will be M-F between 7AM and 6PM CST

21.00 - 24.00/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

• Provide professional inside sales support assistance and customer service related to activities by outside Sales Representatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Assigned to one or more Sales Representatives.
• Interact with customers – inquiries, pricing, purchasing, order status, returns, etc.
• Interact with vendors for sourcing, pricing, and purchasing of product.
• Work with Sales Representatives to prepare quotations and other communications with customers.
• Coordinate with AR department and AP department regarding PO receiving and customer billing, AP and AR issues, etc.
• Back up for other Sales Support team members.
• Periodic training, online and offsite, for system updates and procedural changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Run daily reports.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Professional customer service oriented.
• Fast paced multitasking capabilities.
• Online order entry, inquiries and reporting.
• Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles, invoicing and A/R.
• Telephone and business communication proficiency required.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma.
• 3 years customer service/sales support experience, preferably in related industry.
