Senior Programmer Analyst

3-4 month contract initially with possible extension.


Someone local to Chicago as they would ideally like candidates who can go onsite. 3 days would be great, but probably some flexibility.

Project Overview:


JDE is the ERP system that we're using, but they'll primarily be working on applications that are


used by the warehouse environment, like those used for receiving, generating labels, screenwork


things, etc. This will be a lot of coding and development work- they have a team of Business


Analysts that do all of the requirements/spec work - this person just needs to come in and code.


Needs:


7+ years of working in the IBM i AS400 environment is needed (hiring managers think that


given this is older technology, this shouldn't be a problem to find)


7+ years programming in RPG III/IV, RPG Free, CLP, AS400 query is needed


5+ years creating software design documents (they can flex on the years, but they're


assuming that if they check the first two boxes, then they'll also be checking this box)


5+ years with SQL (can flex on the years here)


API integration work is very helpful, but not as big of a piece for this role
