Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patients’ diagnoses and treatment needs, utilizing assessment tools and standardized questionnaires.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, effectively delivering tailored therapeutic interventions based on patients’ specific struggles.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and supportive group sessions to address prevalent mental health topics and foster a sense of community among participants.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated care that meets the holistic needs of our clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention as required, demonstrating rapid assessment and intervention for patients in acute distress.
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions, available resources, and the treatment process to foster understanding and engagement in their care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records while complying with all legal and ethical standards related to mental health documentation.
  • Actively participate in case consultations, team-building activities, and ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with industry advancements.

The ideal candidates will work with a diverse client population, including adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is mandatory; advanced degrees such as a Master’s or Doctorate are preferred.
  • Must hold a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and proficient in evidence-based treatment methods.
  • Ability toperform comprehensive mental health evaluations and collaborative treatment planning.
  • Experience providing therapeutic services to a diverse clientele is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish trust and rapport with various demographics.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • A commitment to upholding professional ethics and maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in a community health setting, specifically dealing with outpatient mental health services.
  • Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Proven capability to lead group therapy sessions effectively and manage dynamics within a supportive group environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
