Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing quality patient care.
• Implements care plans and evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
