As a Physician Assistant (PA)- Float , you will provide a broad range of clinical services to patients of all ages. You’ll treat acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections. You’ll work independently or alongside a physician, using your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, while recognizing when to escalate care to emergency services. Conduct physical exams and review patient medical histories Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR Educate and counsel patients on care and prevention Administer vaccinations and refer patients to specialists as needed Work scheduled shifts of hours as assigned Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a licensed NP or PA in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (required) Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (required) Physician Assistants: Proficiency in urgent care procedures (e.g., Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Multilingual communication skills Familiarity with telemedicine platforms Basic understanding of medical billing and coding All qualified persons are granted an equal opportunity for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity or expression, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability, genetic information, medical condition, family care leave status, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, otherwise qualified disabled or veteran status.
