Shift Differentials: Evening - $1/hr, NOC - $1.50/hr

Shelton Health and Rehabilitation Center (SHRC) is under new management. Our Skilled Nursing Facility has a full staff of dedicated leaders under new Administration and New Operations Management. This means, improvements in work/life, increased resources for our Patients, and people who care about the future of Shelton Health and Rehab. 

SHRC is currently looking for qualified CNAs to join our Nursing Program.

Job Summary

Shelton Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for  Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)to perform a combination of duties in caring for residents in the center, consistent with the plan of care and established long-term care standards.

Essential Functions:

• Answers signal lights

• Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.

• Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.

• Turns and re-positions residents, alone or with assistance

• Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.

• Completes documentation 

Qualifications:

• Required: Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Employment

• Required: High school graduate or equivalent

• Ability to work well in a team setting
