Step into an important role supporting student growth and success for the 2023/2024 school year as a contract School Psychologist. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact across K-12 grade levels, providing key services within a dynamic school environment located near Calhoun, GA.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, collaborating with educators and families, and developing evidence-based interventions that address students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Help create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure every student has the resources and support required to succeed. This role offers a 37.5-hour workweek with no teletherapy or virtual service components at this time.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification for the state
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Strong background in assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
• Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
• Deliver direct and consultative services to students, staff, and parents
• Support the implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
• Participate in eligibility determination and the development of IEPs
• Maintain appropriate documentation that meets state and federal compliance standards
