Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role involves providing direct clinical care to critically ill patients during night shifts. The position requires collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality, safe, and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Current nursing license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field, Massachusetts state licensure, 1 year of ICU or critical care nursing experience, and valid CPR certification. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital or acute care setting, critical care certification such as CCRN, and familiarity with electronic medical records systems. Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing direct patient care for ICU patients. Leadership duties include supervising staff and supporting high standards of clinical excellence. The role involves participation in call rotation during weekdays, including one first call and one second call shift per month, as well as every other weekend. Parking is available in visitor areas with access via the north entrance, then crossing to the south side and taking the elevator to the first floor. The ICU does not handle trauma cases and is located more than 250 miles away from any trauma center to qualify as a traveler assignment.
