Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a traveling Physical Therapist assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. New graduates are welcome. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, documenting care, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, and participating in student education and professional development. Maintain compliance with state practice acts, licensure requirements, and clinic policies. Emphasize patient and employee safety and adhere to safe patient handling and infection control practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Iowa physical therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred. New graduates welcome.
• Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop goal-directed treatment plans, and document in compliance with clinic and payer requirements.
• Demonstrated adherence to professional codes of conduct and state practice acts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with functional, community-focused treatment programs.
• Prior experience supervising students or supporting clinical education.
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives.

• Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule.
