About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Location

Spokane, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends Required (Every Other)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units, including floor care, emergency room, and participation in code and rapid response teams
• Float between units as needed based on patient acuity and staffing requirements
• Deliver patient care in a short-term acute care environment within a Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid Washington State respiratory therapy license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Experience with floor care, emergency room settings, and code/rapid response situations
• Must be willing to float to nearby sister facilities as needed during assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large acute care or teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center setting
