Job Title: Mechanical/ Physical Calibration Technician

Location: Temple Terrace, FL

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 40 hrs/week

Pay rate: $26- 30/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician specializing in Physical Dimensional calibration. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of clients' measurement instruments, with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate equipment including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, mechanical gauges, thread rings/ plugs, temperature, pressure, torque devices, etc.
• Calibrate primary, secondary, and working standards.
• Generate calibration reports and certificates.
• Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on calibration procedures and improvements.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Assist with audits by providing technical guidance and expertise

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven work experience in electrical, temperature, torque, and physical dimensional calibration.
• DOD, PMEL, or Military calibration background preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to error-free work.
• Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for team interaction and client collaboration.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
