Staff Software Engineer

We are currently helping a Series A startup in NYC scale their engineering team. They are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to drive the development of their AI-driven SaaS product. Through a distribution network of MSP’s, they help them and their SMB clients by building innovative AI technologies and applications. The core product experience is similar to tools like OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Anthropic’s Claude: conversational AI, document understanding, tool integrations, workflow automation, and AI-powered productivity features. Responsibilities Developing and maintaining frontend and backend systems that power the AI platform Building customer‑facing AI applications that users use every day Working closely with design, marketing, and product to improve user experiences Improving UX, building out AI workloads and data pipelines Optimization for scale and speed Qualifications Proven experience in full stack development – 8 years’ minimum Previous experience building products 0 to 1 Computer Science or related degree Startup experience – beneficial Experience working in a heavily AI-native environment – Cursor, Claude etc. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious engineer that wants a chance to build real‑world AI systems at the intersection of product, infrastructure, orchestration, and user experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alldus
