Associate Systems Engineer - Fighter Vehicle Health

Salary: $91,800 - 124,200 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent; the preferred Level 2 profile includes a relevant bachelors degree and 2+ years of related experience, a bachelors degree and 6+ years of directly related experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of systems engineering experience, including requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design, and trade studies.
• At least 1 year of systems engineering experience across multiple product lifecycle phases.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for that clearance, and an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required after starting.
• Must meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person.
• Preferred: Active Secret Security Clearance; 2+ years of Model Based Systems Engineering experience; at least 1 year of experience building stakeholder and customer relationships; experience designing and testing product systems; Agile development experience; experience with military aircraft and proprietary programs; strong communication skills and ability to lead through influence; and experience with Earned Value Management and CAM duties.
• This is a first-shift position. We do not sponsor employment visas. Relocation may be available based on eligibility.

• Plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle-balanced systems of systems and system solutions using an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach.
• Assess customer and operational needs, define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and ensure compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces.
• Conduct analyses to optimize system-of-systems and system architectures.
• Evaluate affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, security, regulatory and certification needs, product assurance, and other quality factors to establish a preferred configuration and support mission success.
• Plan, organize, implement, and monitor requirements management, tools, risk and issue management, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolve technical issues that span multiple functions.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to align software products with customer, business, and program needs, collaborating with software, hardware, test, systems engineering, and leadership teams.
