HELP OUT: Unload Stage Flooring After Youth Ballet Performance The San Diego Civic Youth Ballet is putting on an end of semester performance and they need volunteers to help load the stage flooring afterwards. Volunteers will meet at the Casa Del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park, load the flooring into a moving truck, and drive separately to a storage unit in Miramar to unload materials. Please do not register for this opportunity if you are not comfortable with driving to different locations. Their mission is to make sure all students have the opportunity to dance, and they couldn't put on these performances without the help of volunteers like you! Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes Key Responsibilities Load flooring onto a moving truck, head to a storage unit, and then unload everything into the unit. Skills & Qualifications Heavy lifting will be involved. Please make sure that you are comfortable with this before registering. Attire Wear clothes that you can move in and tennis shoes/closed-toe shoes. Bring Please bring work gloves if you have them. Physical Requirements Bending, lifting 20lbs, climbing stairs, walking and moving around. Unfortunately, this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is not wheelchair accessible.
