Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Recent experience in an inpatient or hospital setting preferred
• Strong venipuncture, specimen collection, and laboratory specimen handling skills
• Ability to maintain accuracy, professionalism, and compassion in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must be able to complete required medical clearance, background screening, and drug screening within 1 week of offer
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for inpatient populations
• Accurately label, handle, and transport specimens according to established laboratory protocols
• Provide courteous, patient-centered service while maintaining safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with nursing, laboratory, and clinical staff to support timely testing and results
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation related to specimen collection
• Follow all departmental and facility procedures for quality assurance, compliance, and patient safety
