Contract | Days | 36–48 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step-Down / Intermediate Care Unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than general medical-surgical floors
• Document patient care activities and clinical findings accurately within the EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
• Support EMR transition activities as part of an Epic conversion initiative

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Epic EMR experience is required
• Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years
• Work history must clearly document the charting system used for each position; if multiple EMR systems were used within a single role, date ranges for each system must be provided
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or held a staff employment position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Step-Down unit setting
• Familiarity with Epic in a backfill or conversion support capacity
