As a vital member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Team, this position will strategically collaborate with the broader Finance Team to help WEG achieve its financial goals and commitments. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving data‑driven decisions, supporting financial planning, and delivering critical insights to senior management. This is a Hybrid position (Working 2 days in‑office at our headquarters in Plymouth, MN and 3 days remotely from home weekly). In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions Conduct financial analysis using various methods, including trend, variance, and ratio analysis Develop financial models to forecast performance and identify risks or opportunities Prepare and present reports on findings and recommendations to senior management Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights supporting business decisions Monitor industry trends and market conditions to guide recommendations for investments or business strategies Assist in preparing budgets and financial plans Conduct cost‑benefit analysis for projects or investments Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual results, providing recommendations for corrective action All other duties as assigned. Education & Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and planning Superior verbal and written communication skills Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and self‑motivated Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new software Knowledge of Workday and Workday Adaptive preferred Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality preferred WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost‑of‑living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state, pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as this level is $79,200.00 – $110,900.00. The Financial Analyst role is compensated through a combination of base salary and variable pay, with total compensation aligned to performance metrics and company goals.
