Travel Physical Therapist (PT) Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment at a facility in Wenatchee, Washington. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of devices. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management techniques. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices. Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress in community or home‑based settings. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC). Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient written and spoken English; ability to read and comprehend written instructions. Proficiency with PC skills. Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Physical ability to perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures and equipment. Capacity to handle frequent patient contact and meet deadlines under pressure; able to work independently with occasional supervision. Visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively.
