Job Description

• Supervise direct and indirect manufacturing personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets and customer requirements
• Monitor production schedules, staffing levels, and material availability to meet operational goals
• Resolve technical and production-related issues while maintaining workflow and productivity
• Track departmental performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure work orders and production documentation are completed accurately within ERP systems
• Foster a culture of safety and lead plant-wide safety initiatives
• Communicate production, facility, and workforce updates to plant leadership
• Coordinate employee training programs and support workforce development efforts
• Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, and corrective action processes
• Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and productivity enhancements
• Support capital equipment planning and operational improvement efforts
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and employee engagement across teams
• Maintain compliance with all quality, regulatory, and operational standards
• Support changing business needs and production priorities as required

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, business, or related discipline, or equivalent manufacturing experience
• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with increasing supervisory responsibility
• Experience within medical device, regulated manufacturing, or similar industries preferred
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and workforce management
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and blueprints
• Lean Six Sigma Belt, or Lean certification preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience implementing continuous improvement and productivity initiatives
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
