Emergency Room Nurse Contract Opportunity

Schedule & Shift Information:

• 8-week contract
• Night shifts: 3x12 hours (19:00 07:00)
• Every other weekend required (FridaySunday)
• No on-call; floating to COVID unit possible

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse license (GA or compact state), in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS, NIH, and TNCC (must have upon submission)
• EPIC charting experience
• Willingness to float within units as needed
• Agreement to work every other weekend and acknowledgment of 1:4 nurse-patient ratios

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver urgent and comprehensive care to a diverse ER population (including DKA, COPD, stroke, chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatric presentations)
• Collaborate with the care team to implement current best practices during transitions in trauma designation and unit leadership
• Effectively document all patient care using EPIC
• Adapt to leadership and process changes during departmental evolution
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
