divh2Program Associate/h2pCatholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago partners with mission-driven people and organizations across Cook and Lake counties to witness a message of mercy and hope to a world in need by improving lives and nourishing spirits; strengthening and empowering people, families, and communities; and committing to being present to our times through the eyes of faith./ph3Role Overview/h3pThe Program Associate provides welcoming front-desk support by assisting clients and staff through professional communication, clerical organization, appointment coordination, resource distribution, collaboration with internal teams, and continuous skill development to ensure smooth program operations./ph3Job Responsibilities/h3pGreet clients and visitors with kindness, directing them to the appropriate services or personnel, and answering phone calls in a professional manner./ppAssist in managing the flow of information by performing clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records to support program operations./ppCoordinate and schedule appointments for clients and staff, ensuring efficient use of time and resources while maintaining confidentiality. Distribute informational materials and resources to clients and visitors, ensuring they have access to necessary program services and support./ppCollaborate with internal stakeholders as needed./ppEngage in ongoing learning, training, and skill development, seeking and applying feedback to continuously improve performance and contribute to team and organizational success./ph3Essential Functions/h3pKneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day./ppClimb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time./ppLift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs./ph3Other Requirements/h3pComply with program and/or requirements related to:/ppBackground check./ppDMV check./ph3Additional Requirements/h3pDrivers license./ppAutomobile insurance./ph3Education and Experience Requirements:/h3pMinimum:/ppH.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Entry level./ppStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively./ppExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service./ppPreferred:/ppAssociates Degree (AA) in a related field of study 1-3 years relevant experience./ppPrior experience in a food service environment working with seniors./ppUnderstanding of basic nutrition and common dietary restrictions or special dietary needs and food service and sanitation practices./ppPrior experience collaborating with volunteers and other staff members./ph3Certifications and Licensure/h3pPreferred Food Handler Certification./p/div
