Description

• Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and create personalized treatment strategies tailored to their needs
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, building strength, improving balance, and restoring functionality
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate families and patients about therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and at-home exercises
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in alignment with regulatory and facility guidelines
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to guarantee united care efforts

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not essential

Skills

• Prior experience is highly desired
• Ability to manage patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges
