- Maintains travel calendar for individual recruitment territory.
- Travels to in-state and out-of-state high schools and/or community colleges to provide information about the University to prospective students.
- Represents the University at job and high school and community college fairs.
- Presents presentations to prospective students, families, counselors and/or groups about the University and the admissions process.
- Assists prospective students in the admissions process.
- Makes telephone calls to prospective students regarding the University, admissions process and special events.
- Assists in the coordination of special events.
- Attends prospective student parties, counselor luncheons and alumni chapter meetings as needed.
- Maintains updated records regarding prospective students and applicants for weekly reporting.
- Gives campus tours to prospective students, families, and/or groups.
- Responsible for continual correspondence with prospective students regarding the University and admissions process.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
