Job Description Controller - ERP Specialist Our manufacturing client, located in Novi, MI, is looking for a Finance and ERP specialist to join their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has cost accounting experience, has been part of an ERP implementation and has used Acumatica. The day‑to‑day responsibilities will include: Participate in the implementation strategy of the system, focusing on the finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets etc.) Provide relevant inputs from a financial perspective for a smooth system configuration and integration with other modules and systems. Participate in data migration from existing systems to Acumatica and ensure data integrity is maintained. Work extensively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into ERP functionality. Develop and implement best practices within Acumatica. Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of financial processes within Acumatica and ensure its fits with organizational needs. Offer necessary support for end‑user training regarding finance operations on Acumatica. Work with the team on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving financial system issues. Maintain and update system documentation for financial processes in Acumatica. The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Hands‑on experience in enterprise‑level finance systems implementation, with exposure to Acumatica being highly advantageous. Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial operations of a company. Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment.
