Position: Expeditor (Expo).

Purpose:
Ensure every plate is accurate, complete, and delivered to guests quickly while maintaining Jimmy's Egg's quality and presentation standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinate communication between the kitchen and servers.
• Check every plate for accuracy before it leaves the kitchen.
• Verify correct temperatures, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Add garnishes, toast, condiments, and side items as needed.
• Ensure all ticket items are included before food is delivered.
• Organize tickets so orders are sent out in the proper sequence.
• Notify cooks immediately of missing or incorrect items.
• Keep the expo station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist servers by running food when needed.
• Maintain a sense of urgency during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Help create a positive team environment by communicating respectfully with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds.
