Assistant Treasurer Temporary, New York, NY, US Requisition ID: 1819 Position: Assistant Treasurer (Temporary) Department: Guest Experience Role Overview: Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a Treasurer for our concert halls. Reporting to the Head Treasurer, the Treasurer is a paramount member of Lincoln Center’s dedicated team responsible for assisting in the execution of all Box Office operations. In addition to facilitating sales and financial settlements, this role serves as a welcoming point of contact for Lincoln Center and provides exceptional customer service. Dates: July 20 - November 2 What You’ll Get to Do Here: Ticketing Utilize Tessitura ticketing system to issue tickets to the public and internal departments, generate reports, maintain ticket inventory and all holds, and complete final box office settlement report as assigned. Distribute will call tickets, re‑issue tickets as needed, and complete ticket sales during pre‑event time. Follow proper cash handling procedures while completing sales and reconciling daily transactions, including credit cards and bank deposits. Adhere, communicate and reinforce Lincoln Center (LC) policies and procedures, as well as policies and procedures specific to the presenting constituent. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Guest Service Interact with guests as a main point of contact for Lincoln Center. Assist guests with ticket purchase decisions, answer general ticketing and Lincoln Center campus questions, and address concerns, requests, and complaints. Exemplify guest excellence characteristics in all interactions with patrons, guests, and fellow co‑workers. Provide accurate information about an event or venue upon request, including directions, program or constituent organizations. You’ll be a fit if you bring: Experience with ticketing software. Strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and problem‑solve in a fast‑paced environment and adaptability to a changing environment. Flexible availability is a must, including being able to work during matinee, evening, and weekend performances.
