Cullman - Service Tech Assistant - Full Time

Long-Lewis of Cullman is seeking motivated individuals to join our Service team as Automotive Apprentices. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for those with a tech background and an oil change certification to gain hands-on experience while learning from our Certified Service Technicians. As an apprentice, you will work towards advancing your skills and knowledge, with the potential to grow into a Service Technician role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Certified Service Technicians in performing a variety of automotive services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Support vehicle inspections and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Learn to conduct thorough vehicle check-ups and assist in preparing Vehicle Check-Up Reports.
• Engage with customers to provide information and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid oil change certification.
• Some training or experience in automotive repair and maintenance is preferred.
• Unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong physical dexterity and stamina.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent communication skills.
