Tax Counsel – NYC Area
\nA leading global investment management firm is seeking a Tax Counsel with approximately 3–6 years of experience to support its investment funds platform. This role offers broad exposure to fund structuring, investment products, and transactional documentation, with the opportunity to work closely with legal and business teams.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Advise on tax considerations related to investment funds, products, and investment structures. \n
- Draft and negotiate fund-related agreements and offering documentation. \n
- Support product development and business initiatives from a U.S. tax perspective. \n
- Collaborate with internal legal, tax, and business teams on a variety of matters. \n
- Monitor relevant tax law developments and assist with special projects. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- J.D. and active bar admission in good standing. \n
- Approximately 3–6 years of relevant legal experience at a major law firm or institutional investment manager. \n
- Experience with investment funds, fund structuring, or investment-related tax matters preferred. \n
- Strong analytical, drafting, communication, and problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. \n
