We serve fresh, chef inspired made from scratch food in a friendly upbeat atmosphere. Help us provide our guests with amazing service and “fresh, healthy, delectable homemade foods” that will guarantee return guest visits! Line Cook Job Summary Berry Fresh Cafe’s Line Cooks take pride in every plate, making sure they are picture perfect. Always ensuring the freshest products are being used to prepare our dishes, the line is maintained clean, organized and stocked throughout the shift. The ideal candidate always follows proper health code requirements, food rotation, labeling and sanitation practices. Requirements/Qualifications Demonstrated 2 years of full service restaurant cooking experience Breakfast/Egg experience a plus Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen environment Ability to stay calm under pressure Must have strong knife skills Must be able to follow written recipes and order tickets Outstanding verbal communication and organizational skills Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures; must love food and love to work with it Accuracy and speed in executing tasks Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes Working clean throughout the shift and at Closing time Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis Highly Competitive pay, meal benefits, growth opportunities Health Benefits available Fun and rewarding place to work!
