Locations: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) OR Dallas, TX (Remote within 90 minutes of Dallas)

Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time

Shape the Future of Enterprise User Experience

We're looking for an experienced User Experience (UX) Lead to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise digital products. If you're passionate about solving complex business challenges, leading discovery workshops, conducting UX research, and leveraging AI to enhance design workflows, this opportunity is for you.

You'll partner with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to create intuitive, accessible, and innovative user experiences from discovery through product delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end UX strategy from discovery through implementation.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and uncover business and user needs.
• Conduct qualitative user research, usability testing, and validation sessions.
• Create user journeys, personas, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs.
• Collaborate closely with developers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Drive AI-first UX practices using modern AI-powered design and research tools.
• Establish UX standards, design systems, and best practices.
• Advocate for accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design.
• Mentor designers and help build a growing UX organization.
• Present UX strategies and design solutions to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

✅ Bachelor's Degree (Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field)

✅ 3+ years leading UX strategy and product vision

✅ Strong UX Research & Discovery Workshop experience

✅ Portfolio showcasing enterprise UX projects

✅ Experience with:

• User Research
• Wireframing
• Prototyping
• Interaction Design
• UX/UI Design

✅ Understanding of:

• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript (high-level understanding)

✅ Experience working with Product Managers and Engineering teams

✅ Knowledge of Accessibility (WCAG)

✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills

✅ Ability to manage multiple enterprise projects

✅ AI-first mindset with experience (or strong interest) in AI-assisted design and prototyping tools

Preferred Experience

• Enterprise SaaS or Professional Services
• Legal, Financial, Accounting, Consulting, Tax, or M&A industries
• Agile / Scrum environments
• UX Metrics & Analytics (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.)
• UX Certifications or Design Thinking certifications
