Description

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Perform all x-rays in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic
• Bring patients back to exam rooms and triage patients
• Prepare exam rooms, restock supplies for clinic, power up computers, etc. as needed
• Assist other team members as needed
• Friendly and professional patient communication when answering and returning patient phone calls, providing various forms of patient education and handouts, escorting patients to and from exam rooms, appointment/surgery reminder calls, responding to and chart patient messages and communicating test results to patients with direction from physician

Must also possess:

• HS/GED required
• Must be a licensed x-ray tech
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
• Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
• Independent, self-starting and highly motivated
• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
• Exhibit initiative and self-discipline
• Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude and work history
• Minimum one-year full time clinical experience in healthcare preferred

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
• Frequent moving, pushing, pulling of heavy patients and/or equipment
• Constant standing and walking
• Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
• Consistently work at a productive pace
• Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes
