Software Quality Analyst

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Quality Analyst will ensure the quality and reliability of web-based applications throughout the software development lifecycle by developing test strategies, executing testing activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases aligned to business and technical requirements Execute manual and automated testing, leveraging tools like Postman and Playwright to ensure high-quality releases Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders during Agile ceremonies and user acceptance testing Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software quality assurance Demonstrated experience as a mid-level QA Engineer or Analyst with end-to-end testing across multiple releases Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles in Agile/Scrum environments Hands-on experience designing and executing test plans for web-based and/or API-driven applications Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools, with the ability to document and communicate defects effectively
