What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for inmates based on records and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans aligned with patient needs
• Provide direct mental health counseling, crisis interventions, and crisis management
• Document all assessments, treatments, and evaluations in health records with strict confidentiality
• Assist in addressing inmate mental health needs through appropriate interventions
• Support multidisciplinary team efforts to ensure effective treatment outcomes
• Adhere to all clinical and ethical guidelines in a secure inpatient psychiatric setting

What You Need
Required:

• Valid KS LSCSW or LCPC license
• Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
• US Citizenship (for ICE clearance; expedited process in place)
• Ability to work 40 hours/week with flexible scheduling

Preferred:

• Experience with psychiatric assessments and crisis intervention
• Knowledge of mental health treatment techniques for inmate populations

About the Assignment
This inpatient psychiatric role involves performing comprehensive mental health evaluations and providing individualized treatment plans to inmate patients. You will contribute to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care within a secure environment. The position offers an initial 13-week assignment with potential for extension based on facility needs.
