Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring private duty caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs for in‑home care opportunities in Jacksonville, Duval County, and nearby areas. This is a W-2 employee position. It is not a 1099 contractor role or registry position. We are locally owned by a husband and wife team who are active and accessible. What Private Duty Caregivers Do Your role is to help clients with the activities that allow them to remain clean, safe, comfortable, and supported at home. Responsibilities may include: Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Transfer and mobility assistance Meal preparation Light housekeeping related to the client Medication reminders Companionship and conversation Help with errands or appointments when included in the care plan Communicating clearly with the office about changes, concerns, or schedule issues Some clients need hands‑on personal care. Others need supervision, reminders, companionship, or help around the home. We work to place caregivers on cases that fit their skills, availability, and comfort level whenever possible.
