You will promote safe working behaviors, help develop quality focused processes, maintain organized cleanliness, and continuously strive for improvement opportunities. This role will require strong leadership skills and the ability to provide the appropriate resources for their team to be successful with a strong focus on providing premium customer service.Responsibilities:Fosters an environment in which safety is the highest priority, and coach safe powered equipment and material handling practicesManage a team of warehouse associates to support facility objectivesTrain, develop, and coach warehouse associates on standard work and confirm their adherenceMaintains an organized warehouse operation that focuses on housekeeping standards and applies 5S principlesUtilize SAP EWM to manage all warehouse activitiesMaintain standard work documentation, training, attendance, overtime, and process adherencePerform 5 Why analysis with warehouse associates to root cause gapsIdentify best practices, process changes, operational issues/concerns, and general improvement opportunitiesHelp build a team to support inbound, storage, repackaging, and outbound requirementsCollaborate with other members of management to ensure the warehouse associates are dispatched appropriately to meet all business needs including inbound, outbound, inventory, kitting, and repacking daily requirementsQualifications:5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and distribution3+ years of experience managing and leading a staff in a warehouse environmentPreferred BS/BA in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experienceStrong collaborator, with willingness to drive change cross functionally and experience in implementing continuous improvement project initiativesSAP WM or EWM experience (a plus)Understanding of Dangerous Goods shipping requirementsStrong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilitiesRequired to lift material up to 50 lb.Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per dayFrequent use of hands to handle materials up to 50 lbs.Required to stoop and kneel to retrieve materials up to 50 lbs. under select racking or floor pile locationsRequired to communicate using telephone or emailAbility to view, read, and interpret documents, safety rules, and standard operating proceduresAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform all duties in the warehouse that may contain dust, high noise, hot and cold weatherFlexible work schedulePay Disclosure:The salary range for this role is $78,700 to $104,310 for California based applicants. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus.
