Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

HMD Trucking is looking for experienced solo OTR CDL-A Dry Van drivers serving Leawood, KS to deliver freight across the country. Drivers benefit from consistent OTR freight, late-model trucks under three years with APUs, inverters and sleepers, plus dependable in-house maintenance. Compensation starts at 65 CPM with weekly averages near 2,500 miles and additional bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate dry van equipment safely and deliver freight on schedule.
• Accurately maintain logs, manifests and electronic records.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Liaise with dispatch to ensure route efficiency.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
• Reliable, safety-focused work ethic.
