Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / South Brooklyn Health . This position involves providing direct patient care, including inpatient consultation and outpatient cardiology clinic, performance of non‑invasive cardiac testing, ECG interpretation, and teaching responsibilities. Opportunity Details: Provide direct patient care, including inpatient consultation and outpatient cardiology clinic. Manage non‑invasive cardiac testing such as echocardiography, including TEE and cardiac stress testing. ECG and ambulatory ECG interpretation and reporting. Direct teaching responsibilities for cardiology fellows, as well as teaching and mentoring medical residents and medical students. Participate in cardiology call coverage schedule for the division. Participate in performance and quality improvement activities. Qualifications Current board eligibility or certification in Cardiology Active DEA license required Experience treating an underserved patient population preferred Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $340,000* (board eligible); $350,000* (board certified) based on 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k): Company contribution of 3% of base earnings immediately vested; after one year of service, an additional 7% contribution. No employee match required. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement. Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, sick, holiday, and CME days. Medical, prescription, and dental coverage: Top‑tier plans with employee contributions below market rates.
