Financial Performance: Develop and manage budgets, control food/beverage costs (COGS), manage payroll, and optimize profitability. Inventory & Purchasing: Oversee ordering, inventory management, and vendor relations to ensure proper stock levels. Team Management: Train, schedule, coach, and mentor staff to improve knowledge and skills, creating a positive, motivated work environment. Guest Satisfaction: Proactively handle guest complaints to resolution, utilizing brand‑specific recovery plans to maintain high service standards. Menu & Quality Control: Supervise menu planning, food presentation, and beverage service quality. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar service. Commitment to the Aloft brand's, "different by design" culture. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: 4+ years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areas; or a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 2 years of relevant experience. Skills: Proficiency in point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, inventory control, and financial management. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to manage diverse teams effectively.
