Strength And Conditioning Coach

Schedule: Primarily afternoons and evenings, 2pm to 8pm, Monday through Thursday/Friday. Room to grow into more shifts. About us Gas House is a strength and conditioning gym in Spokane Valley. We train adults and high school athletes. Our mission is simple. We build better humans. The workouts get people in the door. The coaching and the community are why they stay. About the role We are looking for a part-time coach to run afternoon and evening sessions. You’ll coach adult group classes and athlete performance groups, teach movement, and be the reason someone keeps showing up. This is a floor job. You’ll be coaching, correcting, encouraging, and cleaning up after. If you want to build real coaching skill in a gym that takes it seriously, this is a good place to do it. What you’ll do Coach adult classes and athlete sessions on the afternoon and evening schedule Deliver our programming and teach it clearly to every level in the room Scale movements to the person in front of you Learn every member’s name and build real relationships Set up and reset the floor before and after sessions Communicate with the team on how members and athletes are progressing What we’re looking for Genuine care for people. This is the non-negotiable Ability to connect with a busy 45 year old parent and a 15 year old athlete in the same hour Coachable. We’ll train you in our system and expect you to run it Certification (CSCS, NASM, ACE, USAW or similar) is a plus, not a requirement Coaching or competitive athletic background preferred Compensation Starts at $25 per hour, based on experience.
