Crew Leader

GP Landscape, a quality oriented landscape maintenance service provider is seeking a full time experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader. The Crew Leader must perform on a weekly basis routine lawn maintenance tasks on specific projects and must be able to direct a crew of 2 to 6 employees. Depending on the size of his crew, the Crew Leaders’ primary function is to supervise and to work alongside his crew to complete all task assign to each project. This position requires performing a wide variety of duties including, but not limited to the following: Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling and walking at least two hours at a time. Must be able to operate power equipment such as movers, blowers, weed-eaters, shrub pruners and perform general landscape tasks. Prune shrubs/hedges, using mechanical as well as hand equipment. Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met. Ensure equipment is in good working condition, and report any damage to supervisor. Oversee day to day operations and be able to delegate work to crew. Comply with Company General Conduct and Safety Rules. Help load and unload trucks, or any other vehicles as assigned. Experience in the landscape industry a must. Performs all other tasks not specifically indicated. Valid California Driver License, with clean driving record.
