Location: 550 Harrison, Syracuse, NY (One-Day Surgery Center)
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room RN to join our dedicated outpatient surgery team. They will provide safe, high-quality intraoperative nursing care to both pediatric (6+ months) and adult patients.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care in the OR.
Prepare the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and readily available.
Monitor patients throughout their surgical procedures and facilitate smooth transitions to the recovery phase.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader surgical team.
Qualifications & Experience
Active RN License in the state of New York.
Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience.
Proven clinical competency with pediatric patients (6 months+) and adults.
Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Preferred Skills
Experience in General, Urology, Ophthalmology, and GYN specialties.
Previous outpatient or ambulatory surgery center experience.
Schedule Details
Hours: 80 hours biweekly
Shift: 8-hour day shifts (Mon-Fri)
On-Call: None
Weekends & Holidays: None
