We are seeking an experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Engineering Team Leader to lead a multidisciplinary technical team supporting facility engineering and capital projects within manufacturing environments.
This position combines hands-on engineering leadership with team development, technical oversight, and project execution. The role is approximately 50% technical project involvement and 50% team leadership .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering and architectural teams.
- Oversee MEP design standards, technical quality, and project execution.
- Provide technical guidance on complex facility engineering and capital projects.
- Develop engineering talent through coaching, training, and career development.
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support resource planning, staffing, recruiting, and workload management.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering best practices.
- Assist with client relationships, technical proposals, and business development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience with food & beverage manufacturing facilities and capital projects.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering or technical teams.
- Strong background in engineering design, project execution, and quality management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Cincinnati area..
