Senior Purchasing Agent

Manage the purchasing and replenishment of materials, supplies, and inventory across the organization. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with key suppliers and vendors. Monitor inventory levels and proactively order materials to support business and production requirements. Receive and maintain purchase orders and related transactions within the company's accounting/ERP system. Review and process invoices and ensure materials and supplies are distributed appropriately. Process work orders supporting the production of kits and sub-assemblies. Coordinate inventory transfers between warehouse locations. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are properly stored and organized. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, supplier performance, and cost efficiencies. Perform additional purchasing and operational responsibilities as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience required. Experience within millwork, kitchen & bath, building materials, manufacturing, construction products, or a related environment strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of material and supply procurement. Demonstrated supplier negotiation and vendor management experience. Experience working with accounting and/or ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics SL/Solomon or similar ERP experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited supervision. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
