School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Richmond, Texas

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist delivering impactful therapy services to students in the greater Richmond, TX area. In this multifaceted role, you'll support learners across several schools as part of a dedicated team, working full-time at 37.5 hours per week for the upcoming school year.

Your expertise in SLP spanning pediatrics, healthcare, and teletherapy will be utilized in both in-person and remote capacities, offering flexibility and variety in your daily work. Whether you're fully licensed or in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), you'll find a nurturing environment that encourages professional growth and ongoing learning. Itinerant travel is integrated into your schedule, and you'll enjoy the added benefit of paid travel between assigned sites.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility), CFY applications welcome
• Experience in pediatrics, school-based practice, and/or teletherapy preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes; training provided on district-specific platforms
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Fingerprinting and standard credentialing required prior to start

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and attend team meetings
• Provide therapy both direct and indirectly as scheduled, offering services in varied school environments with dedicated space for sessions
• Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to ongoing program improvement
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff for holistic student care
