What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards. Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Maintains operational excellence, work area according to policies and procedures; ensure quality and date control; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follows Open Door Policy; applies these in executing business processes. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; communicates progress and information; identifies opportunities for improvement and adapts to change. Additional compensation in premiums may apply in specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
