About this role

Seeking an experienced industrial formwork carpenter to work on concrete-heavy projects in Cartersville, GA. This role focuses on building, setting, bracing, and stripping concrete form systems in an industrial construction environment. NCCER certification is required or strongly preferred. You'll work day-to-day with drawings and layout, measure and cut materials, install shoring and bracing, and coordinate with other trades on site. This position expects reliable attendance, adherence to site safety rules, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor and indoor industrial settings. Day shifts with possible overtime and weekend work depending on project needs.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and formwork plans for industrial concrete work
• Layout, measure, and cut lumber and form materials to specified tolerances
• Build, set, brace, and strip concrete forms, including shoring, blocking, and tie-in details
• Install and adjust scaffolding, temporary supports, and embedded items per plan
• Coordinate with concrete crews, rebar installers, and other trades to maintain schedule and quality

What we're looking for

• NCCER certification required (formwork/module preferred)
• Journeyman-level carpentry experience with a strong background in concrete formwork
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, layout, and use of hand and power tools for formwork
• Comfortable working in industrial construction settings, at heights, and in variable weather

Qualifications

• NCCER certification (required)
• Journeyman carpenter classification or equivalent experience
• OSHA 10-hour (preferred) or willingness to obtain site safety certifications
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Cartersville, GA worksites
